Arrived late in Thessaloniki and wanted a hotel near the airport. Not as near as expected but much better than travellling into the city. We didn't hurry way the next day and enjoyed the breakfast and a dip in the pool. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We liked the pool area and the lounge where we could watch the European Cup on tv. We also enjoyed the magnificiant view of Thessaloniki especially at night.
Given that this is a four star hotel we expected to have a kettle in the room with complimentary coffee etc. Their was no facilities of tis kind and when you have travelled to the hotel it is good to be able to have a drink in the privacy of your own room.We found only one chair on the balcony and one glass in the bathroom despite the fact that this was a double room. THeir was a fridge in the room with bottles of water and soft drinks. We didnt know if this was the equivelant of a minibar or if these drinks where complimentary. It would have been helpful to have had an explanation in the room or a price list if this is approriate.We would have also liked a menu in the room so that we could look before we decide to eat dinner in the hotel.

The lobby is large with plenty of room to relax. When we arrived, we asked for a taxi to take us to the Makedonia airport the next day at 4:45 am. We were told that the taxi drivers were on strike but that they would find a way to get us to the airport (which was 10 minutes away). When we came to the lobby at 4:30 am, coffee and cake and an airport driver were there to greet us. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was very attractive. At the pool we were served tall glasses of ice water. The Ambassador Hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It was a perfect choice. Noel

Very close to the airport for early departure and also very reasonable prices in the bar for drinks and food.

Family ran hotel near airport on hill was perfect for our stay of 5 days. Beach is only few km away. Breakfast sufficient and till 10 30 so no need for military wake up. Hotel staff more than professional. Nice and clean swimming pool. We will be back.

The staff we not very friendly. The political situation seems to have soured many Greeks toward outsiders.

Very nice friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice evening meal which was reasonably priced,, and the breakfast was also very nice,. We got there late in the evening and left early next morning so review is limited.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Paris, the front desk man, went out of his way to help me with info I needed to print out that I was having trouble with. The food was very reasonably priced, and delicious. The pool was beautiful and kept the children entertained for hours.

Perfect for late arrival for one night. 5 min from the airport. Excellent window, no plane noise.
